Janis Research CCS-450 Cryostat System with CTI-Cryogenics Cryodyne Model 22 Refrigerator Available for sale is a Janis Research CCS-450 cryostat system equipped with a CTI-Cryogenics Cryodyne Model 22 refrigerator / cold head, removed from our laboratory during a facility closure last year. This system was in excellent working order at the time it was taken out of service and was removed solely because the lab was closing, not due to any known performance issue. This is a specialized closed-cycle cryogenic research system designed for low-temperature laboratory applications. The unit includes the main Janis CCS-450 cryostat assembly, optical access / window assembly, mounted base and support structure, and the attached CTI-Cryogenics Cryodyne Model 22 refrigerator, along with the connected hardware and feedthroughs visible in the photos. It is being offered in the exact configuration shown. The system came from a professional lab environment and was part of an operational setup prior to decommissioning. Since removal, it has been stored and has not been reinstalled or retested, but it was functioning properly when removed from service.
